Nikon Case study - Brand Ambassadors & Sales Team

fds developed a face to face presence for Nikon UK, the benefits of which were:

• Team built relationships with store staff, with aim of creating a team of retail evangelists on behalf of Nikon
• Training was delivered on Nikon products to retail staff, including new products as they were released to ensure the interest created by advertising was turned into sales
• Sales days were held to drive focus and sales across the Nikon portfolios

In a highly competitive market place Nikon were keen to ensure their budget was used effectively to maximise sales within the retail channels. The Nikon Business Sales Advisor team are very much part of the Nikon head office teams as they wholly represent the brand in store & also at shows, exhibitions and major events.

The full time team has been recruited, trained, equipped and motivated to achieve throughout the UK and have been supported, as required, by tactical activity at peak times, such as a product launch or Christmas.

This project is on-going and has been extended from the initial contract.
